Anderika Wins NHRA Division 1 Top Alcohol Funny Car!!!!

We’ve been saying this team has been overdue for a win, and this weekend they finally did it! John Anderika and the East Coast Auto Electric Team qualified #2 with a 5.719@251.81 at the NHRA Division One race at New England Dragway July 19th. Anderika then quickly defeated DJ Cox and Eric Lourie during eliminations, not unlike a position he’s been in many times this year – qualify great, go rounds but always something went against the team in the final, until this weekend…

In the final round John defeated #1 Qualifier Frank Manzo, whose -.009 Red DQ handed the win over, but John drove it out that back regardless with a 5.695@250.13 to earn him his first victory this year with a CONVERTER equipped Top Alchohol Funny Car! This is a big deal, and this car’s going to keep giving those clutch car’s headaches you can bet on that!!

We KNEW this win was coming soon and we’re so glad to see John and the East Coast Auto Electric Team in the winners circle!!!
