The Pro Mod class at Topeka was not disappointing June 9th, although Stevie “Fast” Jackson struggled a bit in qualifying, he and Billy Stocklin figured it out and came away with the #1 spot with a 5.795@249.950. Eliminations were challenging with damage to 4 cars during 3 separate wrecks – not normal for a NHRA event, fortunately nobody was hurt during the incidents.
Steve Jackson and Clint Satterfield escaped the carnage and plowed their way through the ladder to the final round. Despite the 122° track, Jackson rocketed off the line with a .969 60′ enroute to a 5.747@251.72 which was a plenty to cover Satterfield’s 5.933@241.58.
Congratulations to Stevie Fast, Billy Stocklin and Team on the win, and to Clint, Blower Bob Gardner and Team on your Runner Up!
