Kempf Ejects Rear Window & Resets LS Powered World Record!!

Tom Kempf broke the LS Based Engine World 1/4 Mile Record May 3rd. Kempf was racing at Miland Dragway running in the Outlaw 10.5 class where he laid down a 6.71@204 blast and at the same time lost his rear window at the 1000′ mark! Some tuning issues caused the team to end the race early, but you can bet after fixing the engine and replacing the rear window Tom will be back out looking to beat his own record.

Tom’s Pontiac Firehawk is Powered by a 454 LS Based engine with a PT118 Single Turbo and his sponsors include LaFontaine Performance Center, Billy Briggs, 203 Custom Car Works and Skinny Kid Race Cars.
