Meadors Hits 5.759@252 & Runners Up at Sonoma

Marc Meadors and the Good Guys Racing Team laid down some impressive passes at the West Coast Outlaw Pro Mods race in Pomona March 2nd. Meadors, driving the teams “Pure Hell2” 68 Camaro has been recently switched to the NXS Converter with great results.

Marc qualified a very solid #3 with a 5.826@252.66 and was able to improve on that in eliminations. In the semi-final Marc defeated the very fast Mike Maggio running the ex-Al Anabi 68 Camaro in the fastest side by side 1/4 mile pass in WCOPMA history, Meadors went 5.759@ 252.24 over Maggio’s 5.778@256.60. In the final Marc cut the tree to close and red lighted handing the win to Dan Nickleson. That was too bad as it would have been a very close race.
